At the main entrance to East Midlands Gateway is a transport hub for employees arriving and departing by bus. This purpose-built hub is equipped with real-time bus information screens and all the amenities needed to make the hub a safe, comfortable waiting area.
The transport hub is also where employees can catch the free on-site shuttle service which is now up and running. The shuttle is operating on a loop from the interchange and calling at each workplace along the estate road. Outside each workplace is a covered bus shelter so if you’re waiting for the shuttle service in gloomy weather you can stay warm and dry.
The hours of operation for the shuttle bus are 05:10–09:10 and 16:00–19:00 to coincide with occupiers shift patterns.
If you’re a new employee at East Midlands Gateway and you’d like to try the bus for your commute to work before buying a season ticket, speak to your employer as you may be eligible for a ‘taster’ bus ticket.
